Our Mission

Why We Clip

In 2015, my best friend was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer. When her hair started falling out she asked me to help her with her chemo haircut. Being the amazing mom she was, she wanted to make it a fun experience to share with her girls. We cut many different styles and laughed about them as her hair got shorter and shorter. She looked amazing in a mohawk!

Fast forward to 2019 and I found my mom on her own journey to beat Lymphoblastic Leukemia. When her hair started to fall out, a haircut was not something the hospital would help her with. She was constantly in her hospital bed which made her hair knotted and painful. I helped her with her first chemo haircut and the idea of Clippers Against Cancer was born.

Our mission is to provide relief to those fighting for their lives within our local community. Our first goal is to provide Chemo Care Baskets to patients in hospitals and infusion centers. During these visits we also offer chemo haircuts for those losing their hair for the first time.
